About The Bradford Village Inn

When The Old Raymond Tavern burned (an historic property where Lafayette stayed as part of his farewell tour in 1825), the town didn't want to rebuild on the same site - so they came across the square.  The giant foundation stones you see in our basement (see inset above) were moved with oxen and sleds; they chose to re-build in 1897 on the site where the Inn now stands.
